Congratulations to Rhody! Awarded the 2025 Unsung Hero Award for the Middlesex District from The Garden Club Federation of Massachusetts! This honor recognizes Rhody’s remarkable service and unwavering dedication to the Burlington Garden Club.

A heartfelt thank you to Mark, Rhody’s son, for partnering with BGC through his company, Aquidneck Honey! His generous support—donating proceeds from honey sales—helps our club grow.

Recently the Burlington Garden Club received a Certificate of Merit from the Garden Club Federation of Massachusetts, for their Garden Therapy Program. When the COVID-19 pandemic hit many in-person programs and events were cancelled, but the club switched gears and instead had floral arrangements delivered to homebound seniors. Garden Therapy is just one of many programs offered by the Burlington Garden Club.

Ruth Yannetti, Chairperson of the Garden Club Yearbook Committee, and Terri Schmidt, Chairperson of the Garden Club Good Neighbor Committee, spoke on all the club does throughout the calendar year.
