Discover the Burlington Community Garden Complex, a hidden gem nestled behind the scenic playfields of Francis Wyman School. This vibrant community hub, lovingly nurtured by dedicated volunteers which include our BGC members, is more than just a garden—it's a celebration of nature and sustainable living.
Step into a world where three thriving vegetable gardens, including the Victory Garden, coexist alongside lease plots and the FW school gardens. The Victory Garden, stands as a beacon of generosity, with 100% of its produce and berries enriching the shelves of the People Helping People food pantry.
Beyond traditional vegetable growing, the complex showcases a captivating pollinator garden, a serene meadow, blooming perennial beds, and an inviting picnic area. It’s a wonderful destination for those eager to learn about flower and vegetable cultivation, composting techniques, pest management, native plants, and essential garden care.
Since its inception in 2012 and the flourishing inaugural season of 2013, the Burlington Community Garden Complex has transformed into a cornerstone of education and nourishment.
