Burlington Garden Contest

a Joint venture between Burlington Recreation Department & the Garden Club

Open to Burlington residents who are amateur gardeners only.
Residents may enter only one category.

Process
*Select up to four photos the show off your garden looking its very best (last year's photos are ok)
*Fill out the APPLICATION & submit photos
*Judges review photo entries & select finalists
*Judges arrange to visit gardens of the finalists & select the winners
*Awards will be presented at the July Recreation Commission Meeting

2022 Timeline
Entry Forms available: May 1
Finalist notification: June 3
Judges visit gardens: June 13-17

Judging Criteria
* General appeal & neatness
* Natural or formal layout
* Use of color
* Plant material
* Variety & quality of plants
* Garden hardware and/or art

All Photos & images submitted will become Town of Burlington property and may use these images for press or marketing purposes
